Dear little one,

Being the little sister, you haven’t gotten the same exact parents as your big sister. I remember how much time I had to spend with her, and I feel guilty that you don’t get as many special experiences. I used to read to her often, and we’d play together every day.

I know it’s different when there are more kids in the family, and you don’t know any different. I still feel guilty, though. That’s why I’ll read you eight bedtime stories and cuddle with you until you fall asleep. It’s our little daily quiet time together.

I love you always,
Mommy
